Q 1: Do you know about Muslim and their culture?

Last year, I read a book, Alchemist, for performance test.

It was great than I expected. Especially I can't forget the dessert and people's attitude for it.

Now I have curiosity about the Muslim and their culture and I am eager to know.

Do you have any information or recommendation to know Muslim and exprience their culture?

Hi, Sammy! Well, in my case, the passion to improve my English leads me here. In my case, I've been eager to join this program for a long time. But it was hard to come here because I needed over 3years career of teaching and my principal's agreememnt. nice to meet you. I hope I have a great time with you. Someday I'd like to listen to your life you haven't finished at the class. ^^

ㅜ,ㅡ Your asking makes me embarassed. Your question is very unique but really little difficult to answer. I don't know Muslim. How about playing a video game "The prince of Persia?" Its background music is so Arabic. ㅠㅠ

Good question! I'm reading a book about Islamic culture written in English. Islamic culture is very interesting because it's very different. Difference is very important, I must admit. I'll tell you one by one. The first, they greet with Salaam, that means peace on you.

By the way, I think Alchemist is away from Islamic culture because the writer is Brazil which is close to latin culture. I think the stage of the novel is just Spain, Morroco and Egypt. The core lesson of the novel is we should listen to our heart, which is Latin culture in my opinion.

Hi, Sammy~ *^^*
I have also read "Alchemist", which I think is considered a kind of self-help book. I didn't think about Muslim that much while turning pages, though.
Muslim and the people who are religious in it have been rising as a big issue from a few years ago. That religion is not that familiar with people and is likely to be misunderstood, especially because Christianity prevails as a major religion in the world. I heard that both stemed from the same root and was in good harmony in the beginning. But something political took place to alienate each other. ..... I'm sorry for being not well-informed about that field. If you have much interest in Muslim, why don't you read books related to it, such as "Cultural conflict(?^^;; 문명의 충돌) Thank you for letting me have the chance to think about that for a while again.
